Marketing Campaigns

Some of the best moments of my career have been standing in a room with a whiteboard, envisioning the future and ideating ways to accomplish a goal. Marketing campaigns are built with specific goals in mind, but the question is always, “How are we going to do this?”

I have spent many hours brainstorming, dreaming, and ideating, then prioritizing those ideas and putting them into a plan. Executing the plan is just as thrilling, because that is where the work gets done. Finally, seeing the results that we aimed for come to fruition is icing on the cake.

The entire process of building a marketing campaign takes a lot of vision, intentionality, skill, management, and analysis. And I love it all!

New Product Launch Campaigns

I’ve managed several new product and/or service offering launches over the years. The process goes a little like this:

  • Understand the Market

  • Understand the Target Audience

  • Understand the Objective

  • Set Goals

  • Develop a Plan

  • Execute on the Plan

  • Analyze the Results

  • Continue with Ongoing Marketing, as needed

I have successfully managed the launch of new service offerings like Executive and Leadership Coaching, new content productions like documentaries, new businesses just getting off the ground, new initiatives and events, and more.

Ongoing Campaigns

Sometimes, seasonal campaigns and replicated marketing efforts have their place. For these campaigns, it’s not necessarily brand new to the audience, but the attention needs to ramp up at various points. The process for these campaigns goes a little like this:

  • Revisit the “why” behind the campaign

  • Revisit the Target Audience

  • Understand the Objective

  • Set Goals

  • Develop a Plan

  • Execute on the Plan

  • Analyze the Results

  • Continue with Ongoing Marketing, as needed

I have successfully managed ongoing marketing efforts for decades. Examples include campaigns for annual events, real estate listings, and refreshing past content to give it extended “shelf life.”
