A little more about me…

Once upon a time, a girl who grew up under the moody skies of the Pacific Northwest found her way to the Shenandoah Valley, carrying a love of good design, strong coffee, and a well-told story. Lisa Oates spent ten years shaping the marketing for a Harrisonburg real estate team, six more leading marketing at WinShape Teams, and along the way she produced documentaries, coached volleyball, and baked a brand-new pie every month for a year. (Y'all, she makes every crust from scratch. Every one.) In 2023, she gathered up everything she'd learned and built Northwest Creative from the ground up on one stubborn conviction: marketing works best when it's calm, kind, and purposeful instead of frantic. She calls is Marketing with Purpose. Today she walks alongside established small business owners, helping them stop chasing trends, pause long enough to think, and build plans that will still make sense ten years from now. She believes her gifts came from God, so she treats every client's budget, time, and trust as something to steward well.
