Resources & Tools

  • Dubsado

Every small business needs a CRM, and Dubsado is the one I use. I manage all of my leads, projects, contracts, invoices, forms, and call logs in Dubsado. It allows me to create client portals, take online payments through Stripe and PayPal, and track expenses and income. Super customizable and fun to set up with your own branding. They are constantly updating it with new features, so it gets better with time!

  • Zapier

Hands down, the best automations tool out there. I use this to automate pretty much everything! Email responses, notifications, analytics, content downloads — you name it, I’ve probably automated it. Set it up once and let it run. Time, saved!

  • Calendly

Allow people to sign up for time on your calendar automatically! You set your parameters and your clients can schedule time with you that fits both schedules. You can also set up text and/or email reminders about upcoming calendar events, and ask for specific information when they are scheduling time with you. Super easy to set up. I use the free account.

  • ConvertKit

I’ve only barely started using ConvertKit as an email marketing platform, but I’ve always heard rave reviews about it. Their pricing seems reasonable and there are great features. As I build my email list out and really start using this platform, I’ll share more about it. For now, you can try it out like I am!

By the way: in the past, I’ve used MailChimp extensively. It’s also a great email tool, but if you’re looking to do robust analytics and tracking, I recommend not using it. It is great for newer email users, though, because it’s an easy drag-and-drop interface.

  • Squarespace

This website is built on Squarespace. It’s easy to maintain, with a friendly user interface and practical extensions, so it’s also a great platform for building websites for my clients. There are a lot of great customizations you can make on a Squarespace site that don’t necessarily require a lot of coding. All in all, I love Squarespace and highly recommend it!

I am part of Squarespace Circle, which means if you hire me to build your website, you get a 20% discount on the platform.

Asana is my favorite project management tool. It’s free, easy to use, and versatile. It keeps me on track with all of the client projects I have going at the same time. I can set up projects, tasks, timelines, milestones, and collaborate with clients to ensure everything gets done on time.
